South Africa is hosting the 18th WACE World Conference on Co-operative & Work-Integrated Education. Join academic and industry delegates from 30 countries at a world conference and enjoy the mild Durban winter season.
This conference will bring together experts from across the world to share their best practices and research on WIL (Work Integrated Learning) and engage on the strategies that are planned to implement South Africa'sskills development.
The theme is: "WIL-power: Fuelling the Future Workforce".

The South African National Skills Development Strategy III (NSDSIII), the Human Resource Development Strategy and the Green Paper on Post-School Education all emphasize partnerships between colleges and universities and industry to improve skills development in the region. Wil and workplace training are key to delivering this.
The subthemes all relate to skills development, employability & employment.
